Brad was fixing planes before he started to fly them as a teenager. For more than four decades, he’s been a leader in the aviation industry. He began his career in avionics, serving as a sales director at King Radio. Then he moved on to nearly 20 years at Beechcraft and associated companies, where he served as general manager and president of the Hawker division. In various senior leadership positions, he led international special missions, domestic Beechcraft sales. An entrepreneur, he also was managing partner of Sojourn Aviation, a global broker firm he helped establish in 2010. A graduate of the University of Nebraska, he sold high-end corporate aircraft to major companies, governments and their agencies and the specialized world of high-net-worth individuals. His pilot background continued, holding multi-engine and instrument ratings as a licensed pilot.

Tyler specializes in aircraft sales and acquisitions with over 15 years of industry experience. His love for aviation began very early, flying in an open cockpit Waco UPF-7 that took off from a grass strip near his home of Boulder, CO. After earning a private pilot certificate at 18, he attended Embry Riddle in Daytona, FL, before returning to Boulder to complete his education in Aeronautical Science and Aviation Management. Just months after beginning as a market analyst in 2007 at a premier aircraft brokerage, he was promoted to VP of Sales. In his time there, he navigated the lows of the 2008 financial crises to the boom times of today, providing valuable advice and experience to clients worldwide. He joined Hatt & Associates in 2021, after running European sales for an international firm.

John joined Hatt & Associates in 2015 but got his first taste of the industry in 2011 as an intern with Brad Hatt at Sojourn Aviation, working with market research and learning about the marketplace from industry leaders. John comes from a financial background, graduating with a degree in finance from the University of Arkansas. He worked with Scottrade, passing the Series 7 and Series 63 financial licensing exams and building relationships in the finance and sales sectors. He was able to combine this financial acumen with aviation market knowledge once he joined the Hatt & Associates team in 2015 helping clients secure the right aircraft for them and looking for value-based opportunities to grow the company.
